The annual Braidwood Airing of the Quilts is on again! Over two days the festival is a celebration of quilting, craft and the historical village of Braidwood.
Quilts from all genres will be hung from the historic town’s 19th century verandahs on both days. Along with a two-day Exhibition and Quilt Competition hosted by the Braidwood Quilters which will be held in the National Theatre on Wallace Street.
To accompany the beautiful array of quilts there will be markets, a vintage car and bike show, exhibitions, arts and craft displays.
The town of Braidwood offers a range of boutique businesses, Car Models of Braidwood, Jewellers, Vintage fashion and antiques, Artisan coffee and chocolate and The Braidwood Quilt Store which has a curated collection of over 3,000 quilting fabrics on offer.
A free shuttle bus will run to transport visitors between venues and from parking areas to the main festival street.
