Braidwood singer/songwriters Mikelangelo (Michael Simic) and Lily Acheson join forces with Sutton-based pedal steel player Ged Corben to reimagine classic Australian songs of the 1980s into their own compelling vision. Including beloved songs by The Church, Hoodoo Gurus, Hunters and Collectors and underground gems from Ed Kuepper, The Scientists, Beasts of Bourbon, and more. The trio remake these classics into their own atmospheric versions, interspersed with their original songs inspired by Braidwood and surrounds. After being the first musicians to play Oddfellow’s Hall in over 100 years, Simic, Acheson, and Corben are returning this October Long Weekend to provide two more nights of nostalgia.
