During the 2024 Arts Trail, Rusten House Arts Centre will feature four exhibitions by local artists, that highlight the diversity of work that can be found in our region. The Postcards from Queanbeyan exhibition presents a collection of miniature quilts lovingly stitched and crafted by members of the Queanbeyan Quilters. Each quilt reflects what the local region means to each artist, offering a personal and artistic exploration of community and place. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Queanbeyan Quilters Inc., which began in 1984 when a small group of enthusiastic needlewomen got together for friendship and to share sewing skills. This exhibition is held in conjunction with the Quilters open day at Letchworth Community Centre on Saturday 19th October as part of the Arts Trail.
