From Dani’s family table in Hidalgo, Mexico to Sunday Table at The Upperhouse in Queanbeyan.
Chef Dani grew up cooking alongside her grandmother and parents, learning the recipes, flavours and techniques that were part of family life in Hidalgo. For this special Sunday Table, she’ll cook alongside Executive Chef Wayne Alger, sharing that knowledge and teaching Wayne the dishes she grew up with.
Together, they’ll prepare a menu inspired by Dani’s family and home, giving guests the opportunity to discover a different side of Mexican food and experience flavours and recipes that may be less familiar in the region.
Lunch will be served family-style to each table, with plates passed around and enjoyed among your own group.
