Canberra Qwire presents Go West, With Love, a concert of works inspired by geography, community and connection.
The program features a mix of Qwire’s favourite songs, alongside newly commissioned works, all of which showcase the beauty and breadth of choral music, performed by one of Australia’s leading LGBTQIA+ ensembles.
In this concert, Qwire presented two world premieres by Australian composers – I Will by Cloud Tan and Find Your People by Alex Palmer. Palmer’s piece was commissioned by Qwire in 2026 and captures the powerful stories and lived experiences of Qwire members in song.
Join Qwire in this performance before they travel to Perth and represent the ACT at the 2026 Out & Loud Choral Festival. Featuring music being performed for the first time and some firm favourites, this is a concert not to be missed.
