ELIGIBILITY

a. Entry is open to residents of New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) only. 

b. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. 

c. Employees of QPRC and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

d. All entries must comply with Instagram’s Community Guidelines and be suitable for public viewing. Any images that are deemed offensive, inappropriate, or not in the spirit of the competition, including but not limited to content that contains nudity, violence, discrimination, unsafe behaviors, or infringes on the rights of others, will be disqualified at the discretion of the Promoter (QPRC). Entries must not contain any unlawful, misleading, or defamatory material. 

COMPETITION PERIOD
The competition period will commence at 0:01 am on 07 August 2025 and close at 11.59 pm on 31 August 2025. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered. 

HOW TO ENTER
a. To enter, participants must:

– Take a photo in front of the official Top Tourism Town sign located in Bungendore, NSW.

– Post the photo to their public Instagram account using the hashtag #BungendoreTopTourismTown2025

b. Only posts using the designated hashtag and made from public accounts will be considered valid entries. 

SIGN LOCATION

a. The location of the sign will be posted on the @visitqueanbeyanpalerang accounts on Facebook and Instagram. 

b. The Promoter reserves the right to relocate the sign without prior notice. 

c. In the event the sign is damaged, becomes inaccessible, or the promotion cannot be carried out as planned for any reason (including but not limited to, unforseen circumstances, malicious damage, technical issues or safety concerns), the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend of terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice. 

JUDGING

a. The winning image will be selected by a panel of three judges independent of the Promoter and entrants, and the winning entry will be chosen based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme.

b. The decision of the independent panel is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

PRIZE

a. The prize package consists of gift vouchers to be redeemed at selected businesses within Bungendore, NSW, before 01 Jan 2026, to the total value of AUD $1,500.

b. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

c. If no eligible entries are received during the competition period, the Promoter will transfer the prize to a future promotion. 

WINNER NOTIFICATION

  a. The winner will be notified via direct message on the platform through which their entry was submitted (Instagram) within 7 business days of the competition closing date. 

 b. If the winner does not respond within 5 business days, QPRC reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

USE OF ENTRIES

a. By entering the competition, entrants grant QPRC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, publish and display the entry for promotional or marketing purposes, including on social media, websites and printed materials.

b. Entrants acknowledge and agree that QPRC may use the winning photo and name for publicity purposes without further compensation.

PRIVACY

 a. Personal information collected through this competition will be handled in accordance with QPRC’s Privacy Policy.
