If you are planning a visit to the Braidwood area, make sure to visit Braidwood Servicemens Club for one of the most picturesque golf courses in New South Wales. The nine-hole course features a challenging layout, making it a must-see for keen golfers travelling in the region.
The club welcomes visitors to come and give the course a shot with pricing options available for 9 or 18 holes, and golf carts available for hire.
After you’ve enjoyed a round of golf, indulge in lunch, dinner or refreshments at the club restaurant and bar, which boasts a multicultural menu of Australian and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday for both lunch and dinner.

If you’re looking to challenge yourself even further, give the Queanbeyan Golf Club a go. Promising to be one of the region’s toughest tests of golf, the club offers a fantastic day out on its great greens and narrow fairways for members and visitors of all skill levels.
Having originated in 1927, the club has hosted many amateur and professional tournaments over the years, including the European sanctioned Women’s NSW Open in 2019 and Men’s NSW Open Qualifying tournament for the past three years.
The golf club is open for social play every day with times varying due to members’ competitions. On site, you’ll also find The Queanbeyan Pro Shop which caters to all your golfing needs and enquiries.
The recently renovated clubhouse provides a relaxed atmosphere for members and visitors to enjoy overlooking the 18th fairway and green as well as the abundant wildlife roaming the grounds. It is also home to the Bread & Putter Bistro, which offers an extensive selection of a la carte options as well as daily chef’s specials.
